dinner with Eeyrg

sadira and I had dinner with eeyrg last night. I sabotaged Sadira's focaccia (accidentally mauled the dough while it was rising), but it was still good. We played with various pets, including Jake the Remanufactured* Weimeraner. Sadira exclaimed that the pooch smelled like corn chips, which I absolutely did not believe until I sniffed him myself. The top of Jake's head smells strongly of and exactly like corn chips. It is nothing short of astonishing.

Anyhoo, the night was very pleasant. We were up until the wee hours talking about everything under the Sun. Sadira slept like a log all the way home, as she tends to do in motor vehicles. Awww.

Today we gave mrzero and atalanta a hand with their move. Their new place looks wonderful.


* Jake's life was pretty rough in the beginning, and so he turned out a little neurotic. Thanks to a fortunate adoption, some excellent care, a great deal of patience, and lots of love, he is now a very, very good dog.
