Work is slow, so I wasted some time thinking of unlikely-yet-possible movie-monster-spawning conditions. I like the idea of an alien-engineered, secretly-drop-shipped creature best, because it avoids a lot of problems.
I finished Half-Life this weekend. The most unpleasant creatures were the floating Jiffy-Pop Hindu monkeys. Gonarch was truly impressive, as
apogeeperigee promised. I bought The Orange Box, and started up Half-Life 2, but I stopped early on, tired of so much hunchbacked button-pushing, and creeped out by the newer graphics. I'm not used to this level of realism.
Should I bother with Blue Shift? It looks like HL1 without the hazard suit, so far.
Hey, do I have Thanksgiving, Half-Life, or both to thank for this huge knot in my back? It feels like
the previous one, only on the other side, and not as painful.
