Last week's big fat PCR didn't work because 1) the DNase was bad? and 2) The RNA I was given to use was 20-fold too concentrated. *grumble* I'll repeat this later. I gain proficiency in Molecular Bio techniques by repeating experiments ad nauseam until there's overlap between the "they don't fuck up" and "I don't fuck up" sets. Thankfully, I can usually blame "they."

In other news, I got in stupid late today, and I can't seem to do anything right. There's nothing challenging for me to do; I'm just broken or something. I'm trying, but my head's all scattered. Glad there's nothing tremendously important for me to fuck up around here.

I bought a new alarm clock.

My girl seems to be getting a cold.

In less than half an hour, today will be over. That's just fine with me. Maybe my brain will crawl back into my head while I sleep.
