I just cancelled my Bally Fitness membership, because I can do better in my basement. I feel more Russian already.
Rubber mats -- check.
7' bar w/clips -- check.
300lbs iron -- check.
Cheap-ass bench -- check.
Needed:
A different bench. This one has a narrow stand, which allows the bar to flex and bounce when I rack it. No good. Narrow stands are also cumbersome to unload without a partner.
Real collars. The clips are weak.
Towel-grip pullup apparatus, hanging from back porch. I have eeevil plans.
Janda situp device, made of PVC bits and stuff.
Kettlebells. These aren't cheap, so I might do blasphemous side presses with a dumbbell until I feel irresponsible enough to blow $200 on an iron ball.
