My boss is having trouble selling her house. Today she stepped out of the lab for a few minutes to buy a miniature statue of St. Joseph, which she will bury upside-down 3 feet from her house. o_0

I'll write something about the spiffy vacation eventually. It's a lot of material to cover, and I'm feeling lazy. In a nutshell, enormous trees, moss, stars, rivers, salmon, clean air, low population density, and unsurly natives make the Northwest a nice place. The car culture is much better out there, too. More old VW bugs, hot rods, and miscellaneous curiosities. The vast majority of the trucks and SUVs showed evidence of off-road use. Imagine that!
