I can't see you,
Jan. 27th, 2004 01:13 pmand you can't see me, because there's a new, scary Computer Virus on the loose, and NEMC IT always pulls up the web email drawbridge when that happens. This is an incredibly inconvenient way to deal with the threat, but I guess it just takes one pinhead ("Ooh! An attachment from a stranger! I'll open that!") to infect an entire network.
I really do use Hotmail for work. Our company email is highly erratic, so I can bet on roughly 30% of my outgoing messages (the important 30%, that is) getting lost in cyberspace for weeks or forever. By the way: If Hotmail is more reliable than your company's email system, your company's email system sucks.
