holy crap (business)
May. 15th, 2004 09:17 pmSTE just negotiated an agreement with a scientist who holds a synthesis patent on a nutritional supplement with ridiculously broad applications. As STE's northeastern tentacle, it is my duty to continue searching for an efficient way to get this stuff made, whether we contract it out or do it ourselves.
I just got off the phone with STE. He says we need to churn out about 50kg of this stuff in two weeks or so. This could be awesome. I feel persistently optimistic about this potential career change. I have to be careful not to get ahead of myself, here. Friday morning, I left all my neckties at the dry cleaners. Last night I caught myself wondering if I'll need another suit.
STE says he's flying up here sometime in the next few weeks, to bring me a shiny new laptop and train me on doing presentations for clinical managers, doctors, and their office staff. Time to memorize that PowerPoint file he sent me, starch up a few shirts, and brace myself.
