run a reverse transcription. I don't remember how, so I'll have to look it all up. The densitometry part alone is a pain in the ass. I'm not sure I have all the crap I need, so I'll have to rifle through the freezers. RNA loves to fall apart when you least want it to, so you have to be extra-fastidious about technique. AND IT'S BORING

I'm pissed.

I got my first quote back, after all that legwork, and it SUCKS. Five times what we were expecting. It's fucking ridiculous. I called STE. Haven't heard back.

My workday SUCKS. This RNA prep looks like shit, and I can't tell if I fucked up, or if it's just a low yield. I don't give a shit about this experiment, or this job, anyway. I want out of this stupid broke-ass bench monkey existence.
