skin factory under scrutiny
Jun. 16th, 2004 02:38 pmI was just interviewed over the phone by a law firm representing Skin Factory shareholders. Class action suit! I was very careful to say just about nothing. It's not that I don't think there's a case -- there may or may not be -- I'm just not qualified to talk about the company's finances and investor relations. All I know is heresay, and it would be twisted out of context and used (for good or ill) in incorrect ways. I didn't volunteer anything I wasn't asked for. When asked, I agreed that there was unusually high turnover at the highest levels of management, and that this caused some confusion and frustration among the employees. I'm unqualified to really say anything else. No, I don't remember the names of the company's Finance people. "I got my paycheck every two weeks. Everything else was a rumor I couldn't verify."
It was kinda weird. The lawyer dropped some names to get my attention. "We're in New York City. We're very highly reputable. We represent Enron and Martha Stewart shareholders..."
