I just got cold-called on my cellphone by a web site hosting company called A+. I asked them where they got my number. They mentioned I had recently registered a domain name with register.com. I asked them again where they got my number. I don't know exactly where they get the numbers. Okay fine I don't want to talk to you take me off your list thanks bye *click*, I said. Fuckers.

I look at sites very closely for information-sharing/privacy stuff. My cellphone is do-not-call listed. I will be less polite if this happens again.

It took about 1h20' to drive the 29 miles home in the blizzard. Despite the two minor accidents I saw, traffic moved steadily -- not quickly, but steadily. People drove so well, in fact, my mood was improved by the drive, out of sheer relief. We're talking about I-95 in Massachusetts, here. They must've put something in the water.
