I tweaked his swings a little (ass further back at the beginning, more hip snap at the end), and told him to begin and end his military presses all the way at the KB clean position, rather than at the "dumbell start position." That's enough to keep a guy busy for a while -- I think I did swings and MPs for a month when I first made friends with my Iron Therapist.
I failed to impart the magical motion of the clean. It's hard to explain that movement. He has more than enough strength for it -- it's just a matter of finding the groove. I also discovered that I have no idea what I really do to finish a snatch -- the bell just comes up and lands there. Couldn't reduce it to an explanation.
After that, we had a snack and chatted. I decided to try Turkish get-ups with his single, which were easy. My 1.5 made them fun, but my double pinned me like a little brown corsage. I need more shoulder joint stability for that one.
