One indicator that a gentleman isn't used to his new hat yet: He keeps bonking you in the face with the brim when he leans in to talk to you.

Far too much to do at once. 80% of it* is neutral-to-good stuff, which is better than usual; so I'm feeling overwhelmed, but almost contentedly so. I have a post-it note covered in tiny, ultra-fine ink scratches summarizing it all.
