I'd actually straightened out all four metal clips on the canister. Only one gave way completely, but all of them were deformed. Good thing the replacement kit assumes you need all four. Now I know I'll need a cutting torch and an impact wrench if I ever want to remove the vinyl hoses from the Magnum. ;P

The UV sterilizer is installed and running. It's on for four hours at night, and four during the day. Overkill, but I want to zap stuff hard at first. I'll probably cut the four daytime hours out of the program in a week.

No nigrolineatus at the shop, but I found a clandestine Parotocinclus. Looks pretty happy to be here.

Ceremony was highly satisfactory. I remembered my tab this time, and I even remembered to tip extra for forgetting it last time.

I am not at work! I dreamt I was, though, so I woke up all pissed off about having to come in after I'd already quit.
