It was one in which, amid the disjointed chaos, I rose to become a god among men, a leader with thousands of militant, fanatical followers, obsequious devotees who fervently believed I would save the world. I knew it had more to do with coincidence and circumstances than with any leadership skills or charisma on my part, and I felt entirely out of place, but I made myself go through all the motions. I woke up and rolled my eyes at myself.
