The catch was light, but we each caught several sub-limit fish. A limit-sized striper measures 27"; nobody gets bored fighting a 25" bass on 15lb test.
saturniidae, the excursion organizer, caught the only two legal fish: a hefty bluefish and a monstrous striper. The latter was large enough that nobody went home without fresh fish.
