Today: Ugliest Two-Hand Anyhows Ever!
"isometric" military press 3 RL @24kg (1)
jerk 2x5 RL @32kg
two-hands anyhow 2x5 RL @24kg+16kg (2)
overhand pull-up 2x5
push-up +25lb 2x10
decline push-up 2x10 (3)
(1) It just didn't feel safe to go directly from cold to 32kg jerks, so I started with three vverrry slow, very tight MPs per side.
(2) These were atrocious. I cleaned, jerked, and windmilled the leading bell (so far so good), picked up the trailing bell (OK... OK...), stood up with the trailing arm extended (WTF!?), and curled the trailer to a clean, then military pressed it. Then I reversed everything to return the weights to the floor, took a breath, and started again. I mean, "Anyhow" means Anyhow, but curling the trailer at the bottom is a lot more elegant, especially if it's coupled with a leading bent press. I'll work on it.
(3) Torso-down, feet-up.
