I dismantled, sanitized, and autoclaved one of our incubators. I had to turn it off to take the CO2 duct out. I just turned it back on, and it's not giving a temperature readout. I'll give it some time, and then check the thermometer I stuck in there.

Even if I did something wrong (I strongly doubt it), I don't feel responsible. The incubator is ancient, and the oxidized-yellow instruction manual (old enough for hand-lettered electrical diagrams) is *missing* the shut down/start up chapters. Pffft.

My guess is that a dusty fuse gave up the ghost in there somewhere.

No no no. Just the insides. If I autoclaved the whole thing, the water jacket would explode. Heh.
