I'm going to put [livejournal.com profile] buick_project updates behind cuts in this journal. Logging in and out of separate journals is cumbersome.

No swapping in an F-body rear end. The rear suspension is different on those, and the housing lacks some needed attachment points. This may be irrelevant, depending on where the G-body control arms connect, but I doubt it. I'd best stick with the simplest swap possible. There's a guy selling exactly what I want -- a GM 8.5" 10-bolt rear from a G-body, with 3.73 gears in it and everything -- in Bensalem, PA. If getting it up here isn't too expensive, I'll try to buy it.

well, you could create it as a community that only you can post to, etc, etc. if you got the semagic client, you log in as you and then you can just select which journal to post to using a drop down list.

Hadn't thoughtta that.

Hmm. A separate "community" would keep everything together, so I wouldn't have to fish stuff out of my regular journal.
