Personal Chemistry has my resume. Am I going to record every time I send a resume online? Maybe. Makes me feel like I've accomplished something.

That's funny, I have seen at least several biotech jobs recently in my search in my area. Then again Boston probably has more jobs that I would be interested in.

Boston is a money pit. To live here is to resign yourself to having no disposable income, because it all goes into the roof over your head. Unless you actually make money, of course.

I make my searches vague like "biology biologist biochemistry biochemist" (on "any" not "all" terms). Then again, on some websites I have to search through 500 entries. But then again, I have nothing else to do.

Tech jobs in industry have diminished greatly. But there are plenty in academia where the turn over is rather great (most stay for two years as an application booster before going on to grad or med school). This is probably one of the many reasons why the pay is rather suckass.

I was searching for "technician." Period. I bet their website was broken.

I agree. That's why I must go to the private sector. Soon.

Technician must not be the P.C. term these days. Often they're listed as "(technical) research assistant", "research associate", "technical assistant", "technologist", or just abbreviated as "tech". I'm sure that there are plenty that I've missed.
