Fishing ruled, except that I got sunburned like some silly white guy. I'm displeased with myself. A sunburn is a foolish and careless thing to get. At least it's mild, and I can spackle it with Aloe.

sadira caught three tasty fish, and I caught five. She would have caught more, if there hadn't been so many line tangles. Boat was pretty crowded, even though it was a weekday. I didn't get nauseous. I forgot my cigars. I drank a Bud, and then Sadira wouldn't kiss me until I erased the taste from my mouth with some fruit.

Baked fish for dinner! Lemon, butter, garlic, pepper, salt, parsley, and I forget what else. rojagato joined us. We watched "The Secretary," which is a spiffy film about two deviant freaks that find happiness by being weird together. I couldn't quite get my head around seeing Donnie Darko's sister naked.

Still working non-profit. Got some nibbles from headhunters, but they either want me to move to Michigan, or to work with animals again. I'd rather go to Michigan than torment mice again, and I'd rather stay here and wait for a local job than move to Michigan.

Came to $177, which is incredibly close to the $175 estimate. Shout-out to Shell Car Care in Arlington.

Time to design a poster that will make Tufts students believe this vehicle has kitsch value and indie-rock cool points or something. Marketing.

This somewhat stretches the definition of local, but have you looked into jobs at Woods Hole? We were down there a couple of weeks ago and I totally could picture you there doing fishy researchy things.

Well, buying a house is relatively easy right
now, at least around Kalamazoo, thanks to all
of the R&D workers at pharmaceutical and chemical
companies here being laid off and having to sell
their houses...
