my body is on strike

Right. So now I seem to have eczema on the backs of my hands. Too much exposure to detergents, I bet. Wearing gloves all day at work, washing my hands every few minutes, shedding skin oils with every pair of gloves I strip off. Coming home, dealing with fishtanks, more water, more soap afterwards.

It hurts. The skin is dried, swollen, sensitive, creased, red, scaly.

Now I get to tell my boss that I can't do anything that requires wearing gloves or getting my hands wet (erm, just about everything I do) until this is cured, and then we'll have to see about preventing its return.
