Today gets a brown star so far.

I was up most of the night coughing, for no good reason. Set my alarm wrong, got up late. The water heater must've been tapped out by the time I hit the shower -- urrggh. Late for work.

I feel perfectly fine today, except that my back is KILLING me. The pain does not feel exercise-related. It's too diffuse and intractable. Musta slept funny. Popped some Advil.

The weird thing is that my brain is better today than it was yesterday. I won't question that too much -- I'll just appreciate it.

Oh -- everybody give my housemate some money.
