Yesterday's needs were not met, but I woke up less idiopathically furious today. I'm going apple picking, and I will have fun, goddammit.

So much for my Hypselecara coryphaenoides spawning pair. The female jumped out last night, and I found her all dried up behind the tank this morning.* I think that makes two jump-losses from that tank in four years, which is quite good, but I could've prevented this second loss with plastic egg-crate and a pair of pliers. I'll go to Home Depot tomorrow. I need some 20wt 3-in-1 oil for a little project anyway, and I still have a nice male coryphaenoides to look after. He could be harboring dark thoughts, now that his girfriend has killed herself.

Didn't feel like clubbing tonight. I'd like to fish near Scusset Beach at dawn, but it's a long, boring drive without company or an interesting ride.

Speaking of which: The Olds is now wearing a full-length, X-piped, mandrel-bent, 2.5" exhaust, with 3" stainless tips. Project's moving slow, and it keeps the wallet light, but I'm getting what I want.

Apple picking was good. Man, my friends have babies. WTF.

You know what? I'm going to Plum Island. I'll be on a boat when the Sun comes up.
