The employment search has become a surreal and grotesque task.
Today, I've read several listings for positions I could fill very well, if I were actually hired for them. Unfortunately, I am not a vat-grown match for any of them, and I have no airtight connections to their hiring managers.
I've just read a listing for a meeting coordinator -- yes, a person who coordinates and schedules meetings -- with a minimum requirement of "10+ years of experience in meeting coordination."
That has to be a typo. Still, I feel nauseated.
