New computer, I guess.
Feb. 29th, 2012 05:00 pmSo! The consulting check I was hoping to stuff under my mattress is going to transmogrify into a new computer. (Otherwise, I may be unable to acquire additional consulting checks.)
The last time I bought a computer was in January of 2005. This 3.2GHz P4 was a price/performance sweet spot back then. What's the equivalent machine, now? (I'll probably go a rung or two down, given my current circumstances.)
I'm not playing Skyrimjob, but I'll need it to run Adobe CS-something and play HD video without... do... ing... this.
