elevated something or another

They didn't give Mom her chemo today, because some liver product or another was elevated, and they're not sure if it doesn't mean anything, or if it means there's mets there. Previous tests have been okay, so I'm guessing (hoping, mostly) that it's a false positive. Could be a spike related to new medications or something. We'll see. They're taking a close look at her liver tomorrow -- PET scan, I think.
