rojagato acquired the Shelter lamp -- a little piece of old-school history -- tonight.

The washing machine decided to flood the basement. I don't think anything was lost this time. Since Fluffy irrigated the 'neath, stuff has been stored in plastic boxes, for the most part. I am so glad I did all my laundry just before the washer went belly-up.

I think my writing sucks when I'm tired. I'm tired.

Alas, no. The Pupa Lamp passed away in an earlier basement-flooding, curiously enough. My previous house had a leaky basement, so every time we had heavy precipitation, we also had a temporary pool.

The shelter lamp is much more interesting. Let's see if I can get rojagato to post a picture of it.
