What's all this crap about thunder and lightning shaking the houses in Boston last night? I slept through everything -- didn't even stir. I think you're all making this up.

From my office window I can see both regular lightning and sheet lightning. Pretty cool!

I woke up this morning and made the comment to dirtyknees that I had to set up the sprinkler tonight to water the garden. She told me that the storm I perfectly slept through and miss took care of that for me.

Hell, I even slept through the 3 car (2 moving and one parked) accident followed by emergency vehicles etc. on our corner the night before...

I think it woke me because I had ALL of the windows in the apartment open and, being alone, I was totally conscious of things going on around me (i.e. nature, cat, etc.).
