It's certainly not The Dog, and it's not quite The Chicken of Depression. There's uncertainty and a vague, uncomfortable dissatisfaction. I feel impatient. I want change. And I feel the same. In spite of my rage, I'm still just a whiny little bitch.

Cingular Wireless has been en panne lately. I'm not ignoring or avoiding you -- I just can't hear you. I don't think I've been stood up. I think the silence is Cingular's fault.

Today I fed Mom's dog strawberry ice cream, and she got so excited, she ate the napkin before I could stop her.

Tonight I overflowed Fluffy's sump, because I'm retahded. The results were dramatic, but I don't think anything got ruined this time (unlike the time Fluffy made a mess without my help). Then I bought a water level alarm online. [livejournal.com profile] rojagato has not killed me yet.

[livejournal.com profile] fudjo and I had a late dinner. We talked about job hunting, relationship woes, and the thrill of victory (for him, that is. I've never played Vampire). Somebody please lend him Armor, Ender's Game, and The Forever War.

[livejournal.com profile] canongrrl may have found my good side (Eso no es ningún pellisco de ñoco*) this past Saturday. I saw a couple of shots, and I like 'em. Think Herb Ritts without the octopus.

Ender's Game is a must-read for Sci-Fi and other nerds.

On Saturday, I was minding my own business in the sci fi section of my local used book store, and was asked who wrote Enders Game. A mother was trying to find it for her daughter. She and the clerk were impressed when I reeled off the author, but the general tone of the Belmontites discussing which alternate book to get, as EG wasn't on the shelf, was ... distracting. I'm sure that her daugher appreciates that she's trying, but some other random book by OSC when she asked for Enders Game probably won't be all that appreciated by that random geeky adolescent.

And I'm eagerly anticipating the fruits of our semi-tippy labor.

That may be the single most obscure thing I have ever read on LJ.
