I'm all out of excuses, and if I don't warm up a little over the next few days,
bottleimp is going to rip out my Golgi tendon organs* and show 'em to me next week.
Why, oh why do I fall off the Pavel Wagon, and why is it so hard to hop back on?
*Golgi tendon organ, an encapsulated nerve ending found in tendons of mammalian muscles and acting as a mechanoreceptor; arranged in series with the muscle, it is sensitive to mechanical distortion induced by either passive stretch of the tendon or isometric contraction of the muscle and thus signals muscle tension, being the receptor responsible for the lengthening reaction, or clasp-knife reflex. Called also Golgi's corpuscle, tendon o. or spindle, and neurotendinous o. or spindle.
