My fake second left upper incisor, which has served me well since my 5th-grade root canal, just broke off on a piece of seven-grain bread. I wouldn't mind so much if the remaining stump weren't so damn rough. Feels like it's going to try to scrape through my upper lip while I sleep.

All of my caps and crowns on the left side of my mouth (from where the cow kicked me) are giving way as well. I guess we need to trade information on dental surgeons.

In the meantime, I've got an emery board. :(

Back when I had braces, I remember you could buy this dental wax stuff for putting over the sharp edges of the braces at night so they wouldn't cut through your face as you slept--maybe they still sell that stuff in drugstores?
