Crap, I don't know. I always do this. A bunch of stuff happens, or I do a bunch of stuff, or maybe both, and then I can't remember it all when I sit down to record it.

***

Let's try backwards again. If you want it all chronological-like, start from the bottom paragraph.

Last night I was too tired for other humans, so I passed on [livejournal.com profile] rojagato's Annual Love Song Reading Thing. I felt lame, because I wanted to participate and to chill with the attendees and all that, but I was already dreaming while sitting upright. I holed myself up in my room and passed out.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my parents. We went to dinner, and then I even went to church with them. That wasn't so bad; the chorus guy/organist wasn't there. He's flamingly gay, which is totally cool with me, but I'm sure he thinks he's going to burn in Hell, or at least the parish does, and that drives me up the wall. Anyway dinner and church with Mom and Dad went well, but it drained me.

Here is Mom's dog, whom I call Centella (sen-TE-jah, "pain in my ass"), sniffing my jacket.

Here is a God-damned birdseed thief.

Saturday night Rojagato and I had a lovely time hosting a little get-together. [livejournal.com profile] darla was tremendously helpful with preparations, and she didn't even tell me to shut the fuck up when I started singing. (It makes cleaning the bathroom go faster. For me.) The turnout was good, the tone was mellow (except for the shark puppet part), and I had a lovely time. [livejournal.com profile] thelittlebeast showed up (both of 'em), and brought me a bottle of Three Star You-Know-What. Sweet. [livejournal.com profile] locriansax and her boy passed out like lushes on my couch.

(Dammit, I know I took a picture of that. Where is it?)

Saturday afternoon Rojagato and I ran out and bought provisions and curtains and light bulbs. I bought two zucchini for my catfish, but an administrative oversight on my part allowed them to become finger food for people. I think there's some left, though. Catfish won't know.

Saturday afternoon Darla and Mrzero and I had breakfast at Sound Bites. It was his first time there!

Saturday "morning" [livejournal.com profile] mrzero came over and taught me a couple of tricks with a sledgehammer and a sawed-off hex dumbbell. He also showed me how easily he deadlifts 265lbs. Fucker. Oh, and he brought something for me to bend:

That is a puny beginner's piece, but it's still a lot more fun than it looks. I wonder if I can do the next size up.

Friday night Darla and I went to the post-apocalyptic thing at ManRay. I should dress up like a goth-industrial kid more often. Shee-it. Darla looked fly as hell, with big metal cable things sticking out of her head.

There's more, but I'm all out of attention span for now.

What was the Annual Love Song Reading Thing?

And no, you can't bend the next size up. It's 1/4".

The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.

And 1/4" of hot-rolled steel... Um... well, who's in a hurry, anyway? Yeah.
