many years ago, our qa person left to join the fda...about a year later we got a new person in charge of making sure the site was fda compliant. It was his 4th day on the job, and 4th day ever doing this...

the old qa person stopped for a visit...I told her to wait and play along then I ran to the guy and told him the fda was on site for an audit

I work with about 15 people who would kill you for that one.

Actually, we have so many layers between us and the clients that the clients are the major bitches for us. The FDA leans on the pharm company, the pharm company leans on the clinical trial coordinating company, they lean on us...

we were a really small site for Abbott, ans back in 94 the fda was doing surprise site inspections (we had just heard about Baxter getting hit)
