The new PalmOne PDAs feature Graffiti2, a replacement for Graffiti cobbled together in response to a lawsuit from Xerox. Graffiti2 is unquestionably inferior to Graffiti, and it's impossibly cumbersome and counterintuitive for me, after using the previous system for several years. I'm not alone: People hate Graffiti2 so much, TealScript was created. Now I can pay $30 to make my Zire write the way it should out of the box. Fuckers.

I share your dislike for Graffiti 2. I've been using it for long enough though that my graffiti writing is a hopeless muddle of both systems, so I don't know if it's worth investing in TealScript or not.

I loathe Grafitti2. I picked up a Zire a month or two ago, and while I'm getting better at the letters, my numbers have a hard time differentiating between 2,3,5,7, and 9 (which sucks ass). I also am hopelessly lost on the punctuation, as I'm used to tapping the pad to start punctuation, not this "drag from the bottom, write the symbol, drag from the bottom again" crap.

Grafitti2 is nice in theory (on the how-to stickers, it looks nice and logical), but in practice, it sucks ass.
