The Amazon Project is complete! Holy shit. I can now declassify the entry that briefly described its importance.

I did break the whole thing down and rebuild it in one day. The water was clearing nicely, but the fake boulders I used (endorsed by not-so-knowledgeable store staff) had begun to shed their paint, so it was just a matter of time before they forced me to re-decorate.

Last Thursday evening, I suddenly needed to stop thinking. I jumped in the car, drove to Millis, bought a final stack of supplies and livestock, came home, and tore everything down. I finished rebuilding well after midnight. Here is is tonight:

Eventually, it will clear up and grow in as nicely as my old Amazon tank (circa 2001),

but 3.6 times the size, and denser. :)

Man, I can't wait until you toss a cow in there and it's stripped to the bone in less than 3 minutes. That will be awesome.
