there is argentine tango in central^2 on sunday. for newbies, beginners, people who have never tangoed. 3 hours, $4. ping me if you want details. annabelle, pax_industria and I are definitely going, and talesinsdaughtr is being badgered ;p

and hey, meeting a girl who can tango could be fun ;p there are classes on monday nights from 730-830, beginner, (fundamentals) drop in ability. 10-12$ i think... or maybe $8. pax_industria and I have been having a time of it. Is fun!

I can definitely say that learning how to dance, especially tango or salsa, is a good way to meet people. We switch partners several times a night in our salsa class.

Tango looks interesting too. I'd have to unbook my Sundays a bit if I wanted to go.

You need a Project. A more public one, which will get you around more new and interesting people, but also keep you occupied until you find the right chickie.

Of course, I say that, but now I've gotten myself into so many projects that I meet lots of new people, but I'm never in one place long enough to get to know any of them. :P At least I am enjoying myself and getting out of the house, although it doesn't completely kill the frustration of singlehood.
