If you actually worked for communists, you'd get good benefits, lots of days off, lower wages, and to get laid off you'd have to kill your boss.

Since you work for fascists, you get decent wages, no days off, crap bennies, and constant fear of losing your job.

You're confusing this with socialism. If a communist kills their boss, they get promoted. That means a bigger apartment, larger meat allowance, and more money.

Being employed by a socialist wouldn't be half-bad but they'd then take half your decent wage for those who can't earn a decent wage.

The USSR wasn't communist, anymore than the US is a democracy. Actually it was even more removed. :)

When I think of communism, I think of the structures that have succeeded.. namely Kibbutz's.

Socialistic representative democracy seems like the most reasonable approach, aka the USA, the EU, and now places like Venezuela and Bolivia.

Which is why the current administration is in a tizzy about Venezuela.. I mean, GOD FORBID they have a government that is like ours was in the 60s... a controllable dictator is much more convenient for our foreign policy. They might start getting ideas that we aren't the Masters of the Universe.

All of which has nothing to do with malaise @ work. Ah well :)
