Midnight: A short ride to Central. I summoned toasterbath from Bent, and we chatted outside. Then aphonia, grapesodavixen, and Chemical Joy (complete with jar full of Cheetos-colored earplugs) showed up. They threw her in a car and drove off, so I rode back home.


This sounds like a neat idea, and the comments I've found online are favorable.

I just bought these, after Cris's (second-hand) recommendation.

I haven't ridden with them yet full-out, but just tooling up and down my driveway I was pretty pleased.

Yeah. They're Shimano-flavored clipless pedals (as opposed to Look-flavored, I think). I have a set that are flat on one side and SPD on the other -- give them a try sometime.
