The Cape Cod Canal mission was a success: manageable driving distance, simple directions, and excellent access. Fine bike path, crystal-clear water, great scenery, and nippy fishes. No catches, but plenty of bumps, and the destination alone was worth the trip.

I'm getting back there as soon as possible. I will need more volunteers, or maybe the same one again, armed with more insulation*, in the very near future.

I'm kind of like a lizard..or a snake.. put me on a rock in the sun and I'll be fine even if it's a bit chilly.

It was so gorgeous out yesterday, I didn't anticipate it becoming so cold after the sun vacated. Next time I think I want to walk all the way to the beach and romp on the sand. If it's still 80 degrees next weekend are you going again?
