Who has access to a dermestid colony? I'd like to clean up some small parts.

Ew.
Shark jaws?
I would check local anthro/archeology departments. Wake Forest had their own Bug Trailer, to make specimens for the archeology comparative collection.

Nope. It's a secret until I'm done. I know Brown has a colony, but that's a long drive.

Where's your roommate? And didn't you have a girlfriend?

Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology has them (no clue if they give them out but worth an email/try).
Otherwise, eBay can provide you a small colony for about $20 shipped.

My experience is that you order them online. The folks who have a colony near me — The Bone Room — are loath to give them away; but looking at
their website
, they say you can ask the local Natural History department.
