Two grey tabbies of tiny proportions are in the bushes outside my office. One of them is fierce, and the other may be ill. I'm performing a web search for kitty rescue protocols.
I know that Porter Square Vet (misleadingly located in Davis Square) gives excellent care. Good luck with the kitties. There seems to be a lot of grety tabby kittens being rescued lately. I friend of mine in Central, along with her roomie, managed to befriend and lure a stray Mom cat and her 3 babies into their condo. It took them a few months to get the Mom to trust them. I wish you luck. I used to be an intrepid feral kitten rescuer. I burned out though. I was living in a semi-rural area, and the majority of them were ill enough that there was only so much I could do, even with getting them medical attention. My kitty Ivy, whom I still have, was a rescue kitty. While I'm glad to have her, I had many more failures then successes, and it eventually got too much for me. Emotionally draining, in a big way.
