My brain and I have had a falling out. I'm sick of pandering to its incompetence.

This is what it looks like when you use medium-grit emery cloth to free embedded blasting medium from a bicycle frame. Wear the respirator -- this puts a lot of steel dust in the air.

you really would have had better luck with the chemical stripper. all done in a day.
