18(RL) "Negative TGUs" @24kg: Clean, jerk, squat down, lay flat, put the bell down, hit the 1' timer, wait, switch sides, repeat. Odd, but easy and safe.

When the single arrives, I'll start doing real TGUs. When those get easy, maybe I'll train negatives with the double before graduating to full ones with the 1.5. I dunno.

gotta love those crazy Turks. I threw a few KB drills into my workout at the gym yesterday since the location I'm working at actually has KBs that weigh more than 15 pounds (granted, their highest is 25, but still...)

The TGUs got quite the O_o reaction from my boss, who happened to be walking by just then.

needless to say, I was quite amused.

I THINK that on youtube there is a vid of Steve Cotter doing a no-hands TGU with two (Count 'em, TWO) 70-pounders. I have witnessed this in real-life. It's something to see.

Oh, and Jeff Martone TGU's his wife.

Wow, that sounds obscene.
