In response to some puzzled looks (I can tell through the Internet), here's how I record most of my training. "Required fields" are in parentheses. "optional fields" are in brackets.

(exercise name or acronym) [+weight added to bodyweight] [number of sets] x (number of repetitions) [RL|LR] @[weight used]


Examples:

push-up +25lb 3x10
"three sets of ten push-ups with a 25lb Olympic plate balanced on my back"

LTGU 2x5 RL @24kg
"two sets of five lunge-style turkish get-ups on each side (Right arm, Left arm) with a 24kg weight"

underhand pull-up 5
"five underhand pull-ups at bodyweight"



Jump-rope and running notes follow their own, more-or-less intuitive format.
