Mmm. My words.
Apr. 8th, 2008 05:23 pmOkay, so I called the shop. The Olds is now moving under its own power, and stopping with 4-wheel power disc brakes. I have an open invitation to see it go.
What's left? Seat belts, headliner, stereo, window cranks, A/C bits. Front-seat shoulder belts require welding to the inside of the roof, so those have to go in before the headliner. The belts have been ordered, but they'll take a few days to arrive. The upholsterer has a 48-hour turnaround time. This order of operations puts us past my OMG BREATHING FIRE ULTIMATUM of 4/14. I literally couldn't get this done faster elsewhere, so I'll let them finish up.
Did I mention that THE OLDS IS MOVING UNDER ITS OWN POWER? It's nearly time to get naked.
