not as oof
Jul. 8th, 2008 01:06 amSunday night's sleep-attempt was similar to, but milder than, Saturday's. I still felt like crap today, but I was well enough to go in, make a conference call, gather up some work stuff, and limp back home for the day.
Didn't get much work done, though. Two reasons, my physical condition and my home computer's tendency to spontaneously shut itself off (which is every bit as infuriating as one would imagine), were beyond my control. A third, poor planning, I need to work on.
Anyway, I slept through most of the day, and it felt fucking great. I think it's the first real sleep I've had since Friday night. Whatever this mystery bug was, sleep deprivation is what it did. It left a splitting headache in its wake, but laying perfectly still mitigated that enough for me to pass out.
Back to bed, after a whopping five hours awake. Hooray for sleeping!
