I did a 23 minute yoga session, trying to get un-b0rked from all the hiking this weekend. Plus leg raises and shoulder exercises, along with my knee PT and biking 11 miles as usual.

Day one of 30 for me:

3.5 = fast miles walked

12 = flights of stairs hiked

10 = push-ups I can safely do in a row (*as a baseline for the 100 push-ups challenge)

2 = telephone calls made to schedule a doctor's visit for asthma evaluation.

Needs work :)

today wasn't as good as expected, but posted to my journal.
I'm really bad at follow through, so we'll see if i make it all 30 days. today was bad enough that I already owe me one extra day. ;)

I did about an hour of belly dance drills along with a DVD, including warm up and cool down stretching. Tomorrow--elliptical thingie.

are we all posting in your journal? i kinda like that. i posted in mine, but here it is anyway...

hopefully, this process will keep me honest as i prepare for my o dan test.

pushups: knuckles 3x15 + 5 pausing low
abs: 50 crunches, 20 3-step drops, butterfly kicks 20 sec + 10 strikes to abdomen
wall sit: 50 count
horse stance bounce: 50 count
piggyback squats: 20
isometric kicks (no support): 20 front, 20 round, 20 side, 20 hook, & 20 back (10 each side)

fairly typical for a soo bahk do teaching day. gotta do more for my cardio, though.
