It is officially sadira's birthday today. :)

We celebrated with dinner at Amelia's Trattoria on Saturday, followed by (many) drinks with friends at the B-Side Lounge, both located in Cambridge. Amelia's has superb handmade gnocchi and a fly tiramisu. hysterikal brought her beau to the B-Side, so we got to meet him. It was a pleasant evening with very good company.

Sunday we sat on our asses, avoiding the clammy weather. We did go grocery shopping. For a quick, delicious, unhealthy dinner, spread high-quality pesto on sliced Italian bread, top with minced fresh garlic, grated parmesan, and chopped kalamata olives (sic?), and broil for a couple of minutes. It was her idea, and it was a good one. Mmmm.

Fluffy ate two more crayfish last night, and Sadira took Trials of Life-type photos.
