If there's a movie you have seen and I haven't, and that movie is like Sukiyaki Western Django, let me know. I will not see it.

Wow, that movie looks so terrible I've added it to my "must see soon" list.

I would like to crush Tarantino's head in a woodshop vice.

I really enjoyed it, despite being far from Miike's best.

Mostly because of the fun factor...then again, IIRC, I watched it back to back with Visitor Q and may have been hoping for anything but that movie at that point.

Zebraman (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0388556/) was so much better, I was expecting more from Miike.

I feel like Miike does better in short format. I loved Imprint, the MPD Psycho miniseries, and "Box" in Three Extremes, but his feature-length work seems to either drag in places or completely fall apart plot-wise...yeah, even Audition got too slow at points. (There, I said it, the horror fandom is now free to string me up by the toenails.)

His early mobster movies are my favorites these days. It was pretty precious seeing him in Hostel, too.
