I still have a strong preference for the Angola style, but that's what I practiced, so I'm biased. Zumbi, my Capoeira teacher, showed up in a dream last night. Haven't seen him in, what, ten years?
i really liked the bit about acknowledging that even the Angola has had its changes over time, so the "original" label can be misleading. it's the kind of thing that seems obvious when you take a thought about it, but the realization is very important!
